Day 1: from Luang
Prabang into nature
Choose:
Trekking or Mountain biking, your way into the nature of Laos
just outside of Luang Prabang
With our hotel pick up service you start your activity
package around 8:15-08.30 with a short 45 min. transfer out of town. After a
river crossing and some  instructions the adventure starts with a full day of
trekking and village visits and interaction. Some different villages along the
way will help you to get an insight into the cultural diversity of Laos
and the tribes of the Hmong and the Khmu people.
The trekking around Luang Prabang will lead you along small
trails that offer great views and some forest areas as well as traditional
agriculture areas. The huge mountain range covered with deep jungle always in
sight.
After interesting stops in the villages we will arrive in
our luxurious lodge in the late afternoon. A refreshing shower and the mountain view rooms will
make some jungle dreams come true. Tonight you live in the nature with just the
right touch of rustic luxury...
It is time for a quiet and laid back evening in the nature.

Alternatively
you can do a cycling / mountain biking trip to the Elephant
Lodge and than do a shorter hiking tour for only 3 hrs. in total. Please inform
us on time for booking the preferred activities.
Day 2: Elephant Trek
- Waterfall - Kayaking
After your breakfast you will be brought over to our
Elephant Camp for a wonderful interaction with our own protected Asian
Elephants. The Trek (Elephant ride) on the back of these huge animals will
bring you out into nature and Nam Khan river and afterwards a small boat will
bring you to the clear  cascades of the Tad Sae waterfall (waterfall is dry
between February and July), a special highlight. Have lunch on the waterfall or
in the lodge and relax on your veranda before you start your last nature
activity: The scenic kayaking.
This 3-4 hr. kayaking tour (unsinkable sit-on-top kayaks)
tour with Grade 1-2 and only two small rapids bring you back to civilization
and into the UNESCO world heritage town of Luang Prabang.
The last transfer will bring you back to your Hotel or to
onward travel point.
Lunch - afternoon snacks
